if u upgrade a game from ps4 to ps5 is it the same as if i buy the ps5 game

asking because horizon forbidden west is 79.99 on ps4 with free ps5 upgrade compared to ps5 game is 89.99

Id say yeah you should get the same version, but the PS4 version won't be available to you to play again
