Other than taking apart your controller. Any way of fixing this?

Also do any types of PS4 controllers have this fixed if I buy a new one?

I’ve had 3 different standard black ps4 controllers and all of them have had stick drift

I have one grey controller (had it for as long/longer than any of the black ones and it has seen as much use) and it has never had an issue

This could be just lucky but it’s the same exact price as a standard controller so worth a shot if you’re buying a new one

Depending on the game youre playing , there might be an ingame controller setting called Deadzone.

Deadzone increases the inner to outer distance the anolog responds to its movement.

So try increasing the deadzone if possible by a single notch at a time, testing it and not increasing it anymore than it needs to be.

I had to do this with my old controller on COD.

Bought a new controller this weekend and its fine..

Now i only have a problem with high melee sensitivity. Getting me killed in gun fights.
