Purchased this game the day it came out but sat on it until now.

Despite its rocky initial release with janky faces/expressions and buggy gameplay, playing it now feels like a much more polished game. I am really enjoying it and was just wondering what other people thought about it in its current state.

I think Bioware deserved the hate they got for this game because they released a hot mess too early and severely over budget, but to their credit, they game feels super polished now.

Wasn't impressed

I didn't play it at release but I think it's a fun game and am enjoying it. It's not as good as the first 3 but I like it. It's unfortunate there won't be a sequel for a while if ever.

Bought it on release, wasn't terribly impressed but I wasn't disappointed either. I enjoy the multiplayer as well

Anything changed over the last month or so?

For me, it was unplayable

I haven't run into any isssues yet at all. Maybe I'm just lucky. I'm on the 3rd planet now. Still trying to figure out what kind of build and support tream I want to use, nothing seems like a must have skill so far

A lot of SJW type garbage in there (like every human woman with any nature of authority is dikey with an emo haircut. Or how you couldn't custom create a white character until they patched it about a month ago since white people are evil). It's not a terrible game, but it doesn't stack up with the original trilogy. They removed Paragon/Renegade claiming they wanted to give less black and white choices (even though Paragon and Renegade weren't really black and white). But all 4 of your dialogue options basically just land you in the same place in this game.

The studio that developed this (rather than using the main studio) is now absorbed into EA Motive and is no longer an idenpendent entity. There is good reason for it.

edit: I completed this game 100% last week. And yes, the facial animations are shit. They move their lips like an original Xbox game.

Yeah I've noticed dialogue doesn't have much of a difference but to lay bac and enjoy the game like an interactive movie, it's not terrible.

I never played the OG trilogy, wish they would HD remake 2 and 3 at the very least but hey I'll take andromeda. I'm not saying it's an amazing game, but it's not terrible

Honestly I thought the game was fun and the story engaging. It's annoying that a bunch of whiney bitchy fan boys went able to let go of eachothers dicks long enough to stop and enjoy the game. All those circle jerking complainers have halted the series just as I was getting into it. The original story was such generic boring SciFi bs to me, this new one is much more interesting I wish they would continue it.

Series wasn't halted because of online complainers.

It was halted because the new installment was of lower quality and didn't sell well after the reviews came out. You can blame the game journalists who agreed that this game was not up to par.
