I enjoy playing people who buy the pucks and think that "better" team earns them wins. Always such a joy to 10-0 the "golden pack boy" with my 80 team.

you can be 5x better then the guy but his goalie will be some 82 overall that makes the craziest save after save after save
ive lost to a guy i had like 44 shots vs his 5 shots and lost 2-1

i dont even play nhl online anymore tbh i just sim be a gm mode and sometimes farm hut pucks to sell for fg lol

Just like the EA logic in breakaway cross-creases: Cross-creases resulted a goal too often so if you have too good slot and open goal goalie will now dive save it 90% of the cases. Lot worse chances will result way more goals.
