is ps plus required to play online?

or is it only to play free game and have reduction on some game?

there is two different thing we can subscribe to right? play online and the other for free game.... im kind of confused now lol

nope ps+ is needed to play online and some MMO's dont need it but the most games do

On ps3 u dont need ps+subscription to play online it only gives u free games n discounts on games

On ps4 u need a ps+subscription to play online n u get discounts on games

but plus carries over i buy it for online play on ps4 and get ps3+ps4 games every month
