had it for maybe 2 years now and I seem to always have nat issues trying to voice chat with my friends from around town, i don't have any issues connecting to anyone else or playing games but for some reason i do with these people. I've used 3 diff houses and it always is the same.

NAT type 2 is moderate and is probably the most secure. If you wanted full you could go NAT type 1 but I emphasize that it's not secure at all.
This is a router issue. You may need to enable UPnP, put the PS4 in a DMZ, or forward some ports. But I under no circumstance suggest going to NAT type 1.

Ive tried ( not on this router ) port forwarding already and it still gave me the same issues, i've been with rogers AND bell and since i've had the ps4 ( almost 2 years now ) Been through 3 routers at my first house, 1 at another 2 with this new place and even at my parents place if i go there seems to be the same, but it's only my ps4 itself, other shit has no issues for whatever reason.

Well because nat type 2 is where you want to be. There are a lot of factors but it is undoubtedly something to do with communication not getting out/in on a port.

It could be as simple as something else in your house blankets the ports you need. Or router has onboard firewall. Etc.

It's not just this place, I've been in 3 places in 3 years, plus my friends place or parents. Seems to be something ON the ps4 itself.
