So last night a couple friends came over and brought with them an adapter device called the "XIM 4" and plugged it in and played some fps shooters.

Initially I thought it was cool, but I suggested it seems like cheating since they had the auto aim ability while using a mouse and keyboard gave them the
capability of turning and being more accurate than most of the other players. This morning I was watching some footage of other players using it and
personally I think it gives players using it an advantage unlike other players. Thoughts?

considering you would be banned from most competitive gaming sites for "keyboarding" yeah i would say it's cheating

for sure mouse and keyboard is far superior then controller
fuck yesterday i played some bf4 and was noticing guys with crazy shots likely doing that

If you are asking if auto-aim is cheating I would say yes. That is providing functionality not available to all players.

But if the argument is that it's easier to aim than no. There is a skill ceiling still achievable by players with a controller.

have u never noticed bf4 has an aim assist becasue controller aiming is simply not as good?
but with a mouse+aim assit its a massive advantage over controller players


i mean the fact they add an aim assist for controllers should say enough as to how much better mouse is
cuz its not on the pc version i have bf4 for pc and ps4 and only ps4 has the aim assist

I don't play battlefield but then no I don't think it's cheating. Like I said its there is a skill ceiling. Someone with a controller can still out play a mouse and keyboard even if it is easier.

no they really cant though you cant beat the combo of a mouse and keyboard with a controller ever
a mouse is simply too fast and accurate vs a controller analog the skill ceiling of mouse+keyboard will always be greater then controller ceiling

dont get me wrong you vcan get really good with a controller but somebody whos really good with a mouse n keyboard will shit on you
AA helps controller be almost equal to a m+k with out AA but a mouse with the same aim assist is insanely overpowered

idk if i d say its cheating but its definatley a major advantage which is pretty fuckin cheap
but like the sasori said any pro comp matches you would be banned for keyboarding ... so i guess it is cheating

if your playing a 3rd person shooter like division on.console then ads is way easier then hip fireing now you can still hip fire kind of accurate but goodluck hitting accurately for long bursts. , if your playing division on pc then hip fireing is easy as fick and in all ways superior to adsing infact if you try to ads on pc u get fucked.

in these terms a mouse and keyboards cheating.on console, id ban the user if i had the power.

honestly playing bf4 again and with it being so old i feel like this is a rampant problem
guys are doing like jumping 180 flick shots n dont miss lol u cant do that with a controller

never seen shots like that before on console but pc? that shits the norm on pc
i wonder how many are actually keyboarding on bf4 lol seems like every game u get a couple

if thats the case im going to use try n upgrade my pc n get bf1 on pc fuck ps4 its no longer balanced like it should be
