What kind of framerates can I expect from my playstation if I set the resolution to 4k? 24fps I hope. Everything above that just doesn't feel realistic.

I thought couldn't set it to 4k?
Either way games aren't rendering in 4k.

Take that 1080p images and stretch it out obviously.

To play on better quality ofc

No

Ps4 doesn't currently support anything 4K.

It supports image viewing iirc.



Like I said it's not rendered at 4k.

Example, there's an image that's 100x100 pixels.
Not you stretch that image onto a screen that's 200x200 pixels. That would be the equivalent of a ps4 displaying 4k.
The image doesnt have better quality just cause you are looking at it bigger. If anything it's worse.
