i know some of you have done it previously, however i NEED to upgrade mine

i have the 12gb super slim ps3 and i cant fucking stand it. can only have 2-3 games installed at a time

never done it before, watched some tutorials and saw some different things. i understand that ill need a mounting bracket which is only 5 bucks so np

but i have no idea what hard drive to get. i have a slim ps3 with a 120gb hard drive, will that work?

or could i get some 500gb hard drive online and itll work for any ps3?

help pls. all i know its gotta be 2.5 inch

Make sure the rpms are the same (5400), a 7200 rpm produces more heat. Back up your current hard drive, download the update to a stick, install new drive, update, restore.
