I hooked my ps4 up to a tv that has a bad hdmi port. Can anyone list the steps to turning off the power with the controller.

Example:
Hold down ps button
Go down x amount of clicks and hit X
Go down x amount of clicks and hit X

in game holding ps button
down 4 times hit x for rest mode
down 5 hit x down 1 hit x for shut down

not in game its
down 3+x for rest
4 +x+down 1+x

also it might not be a bad port vs ur ps4 running 1080p and playing on a 720p or even SD
i know ps3 if u did this u got a black screen and had to use the powerbutton and beep it so many times to reset to defaults
in doing that it would reset the display and you could just reset the display on the tv your using

not sure how that works on ps4 though might have to look it up if thats the issue
