I bought the ps4 when it came out
barely any games and one big problem made me sell it

the problem being

It wouldn't download in background
Did they fix this?

Also the connectivity of internet was piss poor for wifi
I hard lined it, but how my room is set up now wont beable to hardline it unless i redo everything

Did that get fixed?

iirc its always downloaded in the background o.O
becasue i had the problem of not being able to pause that dl without stopping it completely (which is fixed)
you can even put it in sleep mode and it dls and installs while you sleep or whatever


get better internet or modem or router or something then?i dont think theres many that have have issues with the wifi although i cant really say im wired
but its the ps4 and my ps3 has no issues with wifi so i imagine the ps4 is the same

i guess that answered my first question

2nd one though, my ps3 has 100% connectivity and my computer and smart tv

but when it came to ps4 i had at a high of 35% but was constantly going from 1 thru 35% every few seconds it switched 1% 6% 25% 15% 35% 12% etc...

maybe u got a modem or router that doesnt work with it? i know u get the odd one ps3 had some ps4 might
other then that idk what to say unless ur ps4 settings were wrong the wifi should be fine

when i first got it i used the wifi had ps3 wired but i moved the ps3 and plugged ps4 in i havnt noticed much of a difference
maybe do some reasearch on google and try to figure out what the issue is maybe with ur modem/router you need specific settings on the ps4 or something

like a certain dns open ect ect
if your playing cod n its lagging thats not the ps4

wifi in general can be wonky though i used a ubb stick to get my neighbors net and my dads pc d/c from ours with it ..no idea why it just does and its closer


personally id just wire it put it goin across the floor or something sounds like ur in the same space but rearranged and worried about that or something similar
