I heard if you wanted to use this headset on your PC you can't use the virtual surround sound. Is that true? I want to get this headset for my PS3 PS4 and PC since my PC headset just died. Also how is the mic quality? I would be using this with Teamspeak not Skype if that mattered.

I bought the silver edition because I like corded but it is beyond painful to wear on extended uses. Don't have anything to contribute to this thread sorry.

Don't know about PC quality but they work excellently for the PS3//ps4.

It's true. The virtual 7.1 surround sound only works on playstation systems. Also, you have to connect it via cable if you want to use it on your pc. The mic quality is pretty good for its price range,
but it can't hold up to so some of the more expensive PC headsets out there.
