Ok so I turn on ps3 its quiet
Then aafter a while it makes a little noise like humming but that has to b fan?
And it only does it if I play gta5 or destiny but after a while itll make a louder humming noise like the fan working extra hard or something

Gta and destiny take a lot of processing power. This is normal. The more your hdd spins and the internal components do their job the hotter it gets so the fan does work.

those are newr games prob making the ps3 run right to the max
when shtis running at the max it gets hot and the fans compensate by going to a faster spin for more air flow

are your vents nice and clean? i found mine was gettintg the same way used a can of air n its so much quieter

sonys manual says to use a low powered vaccum and vaccum the vents if you got one try that
i just used can of air cuz it was like 5 steps away from me at the time and my ps3 wasnt hooked up

last timei used vaccum iheard something hard get sucked out and been paranoid since though lol

I prefer using my vaccum also, I can switch it to blow instead of suck tho. Less air pressure than can air duster (which I think is good thing) and much bigger volume. With can duster u should be careful of sticking that straw real close to what ur cleaning it can do damage.
All the internal parts of PC and consoles are coated in a type of nonstick stuff it seems, dust doesn't hold on real well.

only way it can do damage is if you turn the can to much it shoots out liquid and if you turn it upside down whatever you shoot it at gets frozen
i just make sure its on something decent in height and ican spray it with the can level

fat ps3?

yeah i got a fat ps3 i wasnt getting a slim with how fail the ps2 slims were
i actually sold weed for a couple of weeks to get free smoke and earn a lil extra to save up for the ps3 and bought the last fat version available
was not going to get a slim ahaha
