socilazing is 50x harder than PC Been axtivly hunting players to group with and I have about 10 friends, half on destiny half on Gta.
I feel like Sony could improve on this with something like channels in the playstation menu, seperated by game/content/skill or something of that sort.
Typing is a pain, and it's amazing to me how rare players with mics are. The ps4 comes with a decent one that works just fine. If u don't push it into ur ear and just kinda let it hang there it's not uncomfortable also.
Been running strike playlists with randoms for last 3 days w/o hearing another voice. I feel like I'm playing solo with really bad NPCs lol.
I haven't turned on my computer since I bought my ps4 almost a month ago, but more and more everyday I feel like going back, progress is so slow, load times so long.
Getting out of desk chair and onto couch is Prty damned amazing tho lol I'll give it that.

/edit:could also use another USB port so I don't have to switch between controller charger and keyboard. I guess getting optic headset instead of USB would solve that trouble tho.

like sort the people that are on jsp that play on the ps, compared to players you meet in a online game

i have 2 mics n dont use either most times
i feel like destiny should have lobbies would make shit so much easier

games themselves should be making it easier to find people you cant reall y put that on sony

Tons of people on ps4 have mics. Problem is games like cod have ruined people on wanting to use said mics.

The few times I've used mics in pug you get all the stereotypes. You get the people who play music. You get the guy who is sitting around with his buddies talking shit oblivious to the fact that the people they're playing with can hear em. You get kids screaming about dying or not getting loot. You get kids who beg you to help them do something like nightfall or a raid.

All sorts of crap. I only turn on my mic to play with friends. Having lobbies would be fine I'm sure but gaming on a console is much different than on PC. The populations are completely different and it shows in the most horrible ways

Don't forget about the fatties who munch on bags of chips with their mics on.

I'm probably one of the odd ones
I have a mic but never really use it
I have it on and plugged in but I play with very low volume so you don't hear anything through my mic either

The only time I would say something is if someone talked mad shit to someone else and I murder them more than 2 times. Say a couple of words like get rekt or owned to make them rage and then silent again

Other than that I don't talk to them or pick fights even if they pick it with me

I've always found that PC has a more mature and social community, but that could just be me. I don't really game on PC anymore and I kind of miss it.
