is this game worth getting? I need a new game and into rpg games I have afew questions.

1: Is it a open world kinda game that you can do whatever you want?
2: are there side quests you can do or is it only Storymode?
3: is it a short game that you can beat in like a weekend?
4: around how long is the story mode?
5: can you pick whatever main character you want or is there only one choice.

1. Open world, do what you want
2. Many many quests, some pointless others are pretty awesome, I'd just stay away from the gathering mats ones, they're endless and kinda annoying
3. First play through I finished at 97 hours and made 2 more chars after, there's so much to see and do, it doesn't really get stale quickly and playing with dif chars was fun
4. I don't remember since I mixed it in with my side quests but they're are level recommendations and the highest I think was lvl 20ish so it does take a good bit of time, and it's really cool
5. I think 4 races, 3 classes and 3 subclasses for each char, lots of different options and builds (only 1 subclass per char though I believe)

Definitely worth the price, I've probably put 200+ hours into it and haven't even finished all the way through on my second and third chars

E: oh and dragon fights are amazing

i bought it because of the good reviews.. the movement is slow as hell, the skills are sucky.. and the cooldowns omg
this aint even a good RPG dunno how ppl like this shit

ure better off buying bloodborne / dark souls ps4
both of them are 100 times better than this crap

bought this, played for 5-10 hours and im about to resell.

I assume you didn't like dragon age 1 or 2, similar with the skills and cooldowns, forced you to actually strategize rather than mindlessly spam your best attack over and over
Also movement is fine, just get a mount

if you playted for 5 hours no wonder the skills are "sucky" and coool downs? oh no i cant spam the same op attack over and over
and if you think this is slow you should go play origins



i like the game its a pause and play strategy type game but you can put it on easy and cruise through without pausing if you want constant gameplay
as for open world its got a few areas the maps are pretty big and you can run anywhere in it its got rifts to close and camps to set up shit to do as you explore and run around
+ once you like set up camps and stuff you can fast travel to them so you can get around pretty quick

You clearly have no idea what you are talking about.

didn't like da2 but loved this one

In my eyes, they took the feeling from DA:O and took the (few) good parts of DA2 and put it into this game.
I personally love it, I put maybe 100+ hours into the game and I'm about level 14. Ever since I bought destiny tho, my time has been stolen by that game, but I do hope I can go back and finish this great game when I don't need the stuff from doing dailies every day in Destiny
