see a good (modern/nextgen) call of duty or battlefield that is Vietnam themed?

or is that war/time period too contentious/controversial to be able to make a modern game/depiction of it?

U mean u want jet packs and lazer guns in Vietnam? Or u want mean regular authentic Vietnam theme just on new console?

They already made a battlefield Vietnam though
They actually made a lot of Vietnam war based games and they were popular at that time too

It's a bit outdated now though
More gun enthusiasts and more knowledge on guns so the old weapons aren't appealing anymore

Why play a game where you use a basic m16 when you can use an m16 with lazors, scopez, night visionz, heat visionz, grenade launcherz, nuke launcherz, light saberz, 500 round magz, and heat seeking missilez ammo?

Maybe if people would stop buying the futuristic fps games they would understand that it sucks and go back to modern... All they want is to make money, so they give kids what they want, shitty new features/guns to make the multiplayer easier for people who sucks.

the most requested battlefield theme for the bext bf is ww2 i believe :/ so that kinda nulls what you just said

plus, there was plenty of cool weapon variation back in that day to make things interesting/switch it up.



the latter of course. guns + gameplay as realistic as possible (unlikely, but would be boss)

I wouldn't say futuristic fps games suck

Thoroughly enjoyed unreal tourns, quakes, dooms, half lifes, turoks, planetside, natural selection, fear, bioshock, halo

it's subjective and purely opinion based.

anyways, you wouldn't enjoy a ww2 or vietnam battlefield that was done properly and was authentic?
i think that'd be unreal, personally.

I guarantee to you sincerely that we will see a realistic current gen (ps4) first person shooter... (excluding CoD ofcourse)
but its been done so much that it may take a few years before anyone even wants it done again... and again.... and again......
