Okay so I have 2 ps3's (long story as to why, but both i got cheap and used so oh well)

one is 250 and one is 160 gb so I thought, ill take my 250gb and stick it in the newer 160 GB ps3 and take that one to school with me. leave the older/ now smaller one with my GF for netflix etc.

However, when i stuck the 250gb in it wants me to format even though it's already formatted to a ps3, just not this one.

So fearing loosing all my data i threw the 160gb back in, which now said the same thing!

So now i have 2 ps3's neither of which have a Hard drive. and neither of which can run anyy HDD without formatting.....

Is all my data Rip in peace?

Wait so all you did was take out the HDD, put it back in and it wants you to format it?

If that is how the system works what a fucking failure
