it lost

If you take a car from 1 garage and drive into other full one, you can switch the cars
But if you take car off the street and drive into full garage and replace with a car, you lose the car

It was my car i bought from the store with insurance etc, it was in my garage and i went to put snother car in it replaced it any way to get it back?
