So "one piece pirate warrior 3" will be released in japan first and later in the us / eu

My question is.. If i buy the japanese version, will i be able to play it on my eu console? Will the language switch to my default settings?

Anyone had any experience with something like that?

it will work on your console, but it wouldn;t changfe language settings cause chances are it has no other language in it
any DLC it may come out for it would require the DLC from the region that the game is from
controls could possibly be slightly different (ie. in Japan O is the confirm type button, whereas X is the cancel), some games are coded to change based on the console's region though

what you want to know is if the game/ console are "region locked"
google it if yes then your sol if not good to go
i beleive the ps3 is and ps4 isnt but not 100% sure find a reliable source on google

they aren't region locked

I was pretty sure they would run on my ps4 ..
The main question was about the language

Guess i will have to wait till release to find it out on the internet

the only game that has ever had other languages in the japanese release was Persona 4 Arena (and was only due to them planning to release it in US shortly after japan)
