Hi, I just got Destiny and trying to figure it out. Lev 5 hunter. What to collect at first? Where to head?
How to get better eq? What should i improve and what to look for?

any tips would be very helpful. x)

Get to level 20. Then get light. It's a grind feat. Gl and hf

Play story first so u unlock all planets
U should be lvl like 20 when finishing
Then u can do strikes or pvp to improve your gear abd prepare yourself for the raid etc

Pre 20 don't pay mind to stats too much. If it's higher level gear it will treat you better.

Do all the side missions. Gather any and all materials you see and save them. Don't bother wasting anything on upgrades besides your class material and glimmer.

Do all the bounties you can in both pve and pvp.

At 20 and beyond still don't be picky about stats. If it has more light than what you currently have then it's better. Your goal is to hit 26-28. At 26-28+ you can be picky about stats like strength, int etc

Lastly don't use guns you think are better. Use what you feel comfortable with. Yes take damage into consideration but if you suck with hand cannons and you have a comparable auto rifle you're better with use that instead.

Second lastly have fun. If it's a chore to play and progress because you're doing things someone else's way do it your own way and have fun doing it.

honestly, start doin patrol missions n bountys asap. Ull b able to buy legendary armors at lvl 2 vanguard n weapons at 3. Makin lvln to 28-30 faster as ull have a great start. Best of luck n if ur ps3, add fadedspàde91
