The only reason to get an SSHD is because cost IS an issue. The only real benefit of it is the possibility of maybe more storage.

Agree'd.
Developers would be optimizing for a standard PS4 which probably means they would try to front-load data as much as they can.
Money might not be an issue to buy the SSD but the money vs. result should be. The insignificant results paired with the cost of an SSD, not worth it in my opinion.

If you're poor enough not to buy SSD, I'd recommend you buying food instead of a console.
