just bought ps4 and ghosts

now its saying i have to have playstation plus to be a member...i haven't played my ps3 in a while but a big reason i went with sony in the beginning was bc it was free online

do i need to buy a membership to play games online similar to xbox?

Yes PS+ is needed for most games to play online for the PS4
there are exceptions, but they are limited to f2p games

Really you can get it for under 40 dollars a year and you get mass free games every month. It's worth it.

I know pretty sweet right? Probably if it was all AAA games it would be more expensive.
