The game will never be on ps4 or xbox one. They've said it numerous times and they were forced to go free to play because of how badly they handled it.
Switching out EPs every other month, completely revamping their teams, mass firings. Replaced the CEO as well.
Don't buy bits for it or the season pass.
It's not an mmorpg or like borderlands, but it is a third person shooter with some rpg elements. Don't fall for the f2p advertisement. There is no evolving world and the game most certainly does end. The season pass was insulting, as is the pittance they gave veteran players for the free to play switch.
If you do play the game, get it on pc. The playstation version of the game is the red headed step child, with disconnects galore, the xbox is a little better but not by much. Again, don't waste money on the game.
This is coming from someone that was active during the development (testing) and first year of the game. Testing all of the new content, both alpha and beta. Someone who absolutely adored the concept of a game and tv show playing side by side and eventually got fed up with the poor developer decisions and terrible management.
What's funny, they actually screwed up their free to play launch patch and are still trying to catch up. The current date for consoles is july 15th, but I'd expect that to be pushed back.
