I have the 4gb that came with my bundle and a 4gb that came with the starter kit and basically to play more games on the go I swap them out. Doing this caused one to get corrupted. I didn't lose anything major but now I feel more inclined to get a bigger memory card so I don't have to swap. I usually don't have so many games on the go but my personality likes to get the 64gb if it's available. Needed? Overkill?

I'd say get it so you can have more options on the go if needed
or at least get a 32, but the price of the 64 is more worth it to get the 64

I've got a 32gb. I've installedthe last year and 3 months of PS+ games excluding very few. Also installed my ps1 games and a couple PSP games that I bought. I still have like 10-15gb left.

I don't think it's necessary. I have 2x 16 GB (they're super cheap and better value than the 32 and 64 GB models) and a 4 GB one that came free.

in NA the 8-32 are the exact same same GB:$ ratio so there is no better deal besides importing a 64 (which costs like less than 50% more than our retail price for a 32)

Joe is EU
and the value for vita memory literally follows an 8GB:$20 ratio starting from the 8GB ones, whereas europe and japan that's not the case

It makes no sense! It's probably Sony's fault, seeing as they have a monopoly. <_<

I have a 64gb because I don't like erasing games that I've downloaded
plus games, yeah, i'll eventually delete them after I finish them, but the games I purchase, I like to keep them
just because
so yes, its needed..its the same reason why I took out my 160gb HDD in my ps3 and swapped it out for a 500
my vita came with a 8gb card, I couldn't have squat on it
so I bought a 32gb figuring, go big or go home
that thing filled up pretty quick
then doug told me where I could find a 64gb and I bought one the same day, couldn't be happier
still have plenty of room on the thing
