Japanese Role Playing Game News and Discussion
This topic will be for discussing any and all Jrpg's that are coming out or are already out for a Sony System (or if Sony is at least the assumed platform it will be on) or any news about these games.

I thought this topic could also be good for informing people of games that often fall under the radar, but could really use more attention.

Anyway some recent Notable things recently:
Tales of Symphonia Chronicles (AKA ToS HD) was released a few weeks ago, it includes both the first and second Tales of Symphonia games, or they can be purchased separately on PSN (this is also a game I'd highly recommend since it's an HD rerelease of one of the best Gamecube games and it's sequel along with it containing content that was only available on the never released outside of Japan PS2 version of the game)

2 New Neptunia games were revealed by Compile Heart, one will be an Action game and the other is a sequel to the previous game. This series is worth taking a look at imo cause the entire concept of the game is that it's a parody on the game industry with the consoles being the Goddesses of the world. Also in Japan the 2nd Neptunia re;birth game is being released soon.

Atelier Escha & Logy was released last week for the PS3 and is the 2nd game in the Dusk series of Atelier games.

Persona 5 had a big reveal a while back.

Mugen Souls Z comes out May 20th for the PS3, LEs are still available for order

Demon Gaze comes out April 22nd for the Vita, LEs are almost sold out, this is first person Dungeon RPG

The Witch and the Hundred Knight comes out next week, LEs are sold out

The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky Second Chapter for PSP/PC got pushed back til spring

Ragnarok Odyssey Ace comes out April 1st for the Vita/PS3, it is an improved version of the original Ragnarok Odyssey and has additional content

Atelier Ayesha Plus is being developed for the Vita, it is a port of the 1st Dusk game originally released for the PS3

Conception II comes out April 15th for Vita/3DS

Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment comes out for Vita April 24th in Japan

FFX/X-2 HD came out today

NISA is localizing Compile Heart's Fairy Fencer F release is expected to be in the fall

Soul Sacrifice Delta recently came out in Japan, it's an improved version (improvements were made based on fan feedback) of Soul Sacrifice along with having the story supposedly being left more open for a sequel if the fans really want one

For some reason I thought Soul Sacrifice Delta was the sequel. What's wrong with the first that they need to improve? I thought it was really good.

I actually saw a screenshot of Demon Gaze earlier and it's a blip on my radar I think.

idk, but it was done due to fan feedback
I know I read it was left open to the possibility of a sequel, you can pick a group to be a part of (save/sac/neutral group) and idr what else

I've been watching it since it was first announced in japan xD

JRPG's are what got me to get my PS3 and Vita and I've found a number of good ones IMO
