Got one of those fancy chip/pin debit/visa cards. Supposed to be able to use my debit card in places where you would use a visa.
I have limited success trying to buy stuff online with it. Works on Steam, but doesn't work going through the PSN store through the console.
Has anyone used it before on the web-based PSN store? I want to buy an avatar and don't want to buy a PSN card.

i used to have to go to the next city over to gamestop for my psn cards but now 711 sells them shoppers drugmart too i think lol there like everywhere

Nah I know that's not the case because it's my main card.
It's just "supposed" to act like a visa but from experience I know it doesn't in all cases. Just wondering if anyone has got it to work before. I'll try it later on tonight.

I've never liked them, the majority of the time the card doesn't have a pin and you sometimes can get away with running it as a credit card though.

see if it works with paypal and just use paypal imo
