i haven't played much console games for like about 8 years now.

the last console game i've really liked and played was ps2

everything else i just played on computer

thinking of trying to switch gears back to consoles.

i watched some videos about ps4 and most of the stuff looks really impressive.

the game that really has my eyes at the moment is final fantasy 14: a realm reborn



i would just like to hear some opinions about ps4 and your thoughts on what you think if you already have it, or if you are planning to buy it soon, your reasons

or if you do'nt like it, your reasons as well

I regret buying my ps4 only because I find myself more of a PC gamer these days.

There currently aren't too many titles out right now, but there are Definitely ones to look forward to.

If you're in no rush, I would wait.


Aside from what I said above, it's a great, solid system.

I played ff aar on PC, it's a really good game but I got bored of it quickly after reaching my first level cap. I may go back to it in a couple months. Also I should remind you that there is a monthly subscription for ffaar

and just for reference, what type of PC games do you play?

i never play any FPS games, was wondering if ps4 has any games not typical FPS games that i usually see on the market

I only purchased bf4.

On PC, I play mmos, fps, and diablo or diablo like games.

I'm looking forward to, just off the top of my head...


The division
Dying light
Human element
Destiny
Evolve
Shadows of mordor

A few more titles that are Tentative but will see on e more gameplay comes out.





If you're not interested in ps4 exclusives, stick with PC games and build yourself a monster computer if you don't already have one.

im a fan of diablo like games but not strictly mmos

and i have a poopy computer

at this point im contemplating whether to build a nice computer or ps4

Only you can really say if it's worth it or not.

i like mine i only have killzone shadowfall atm but its fun to play and they just added free dlc maps
not a ton of games but theres some good crossovers like blackflag nfs rivals battlefield i think mgs and infamous come out this month or next month around the 20th

ps4 has no games atm (good exclusives worth picking one up for)


I would wait a year but it's hard to say you will even save money by waiting a year because they are in pretty popular demand.
