The Batmobile is explained as a "core element" of gameplay, which means a new area of Gotham larger than Arkham City will be revealed

PLEASE keep this in mind:

Rocksteady Studios = Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City

WB Games Montréal = Batman: Arkham City (Wii U only) and Batman: Arkham Origins

Rocksteady had NOTHING to do with Arkham Origins

Absolutely epic. I kind of wish Origins never existed, so that the Arkham "trilogy" would be remembered as one of the greatest trilogies ever made, but nooo origins had to ruin that.

So many "AAA" trilogies in movies like:

The Godfather
Lord of the Rings
The Hobbit (we know there's only going to be 3, like LOTR)
The Matrix
Dark Knight trilogy
Hannibal Lecter
Alien
Toy Story
+ probably many more.

Can anyone mentioned a single AAA trilogy in gaming? or even AA? Closest I can think of is Crash, Jak & Daxter, Uncharted (4th coming soon though)

None the less I hope they hold their word on this being the last or at least don't release another Arkham game for 3-4 years, no need milking : /

Oh and I read somewhere that a main character in Arkham Knight will contain more polygons than the entire map in Asylum. That's pretty mind-boggling if true.

trilogy would indicate there is only 3 if there is more than 3 then it's not a trilogy anymore
