Can you try uninstalling the game one more time and before reinstalling it, download a few free games, demos, music, movies, etc. This should push the game and updates to install on to a different sector of your harddrive. Be sure to use a wired connection for the install as a wireless connection may cause some files to be lost or corrupt during transmission. Also, you can try configuring your ports, just in case some data packets are getting block when they come from an unfamiliar port number. If you manually set up your ports, here goes the ports you'll need:

PSN Ports:

80, 443, 465, 983, 5223, 10070-10080 TCP

3478-3479, 3658, 10070 UDP



Call of Duty Ghosts Console Ports:

80, 81,443, 3074, 5223 TCP

36081, 3074, 3075, 3478 UDP
