I get decent wifi in my room but I want something so I can have lag free gaming experience

is there any device that would help me boost my signal or draw in a better signal?

In all honesty nothing is going to compare to a wired connection.

Couple of options though.
Move your router/modem near the console make (I assume) the PC wireless.

Or look into access points.

If getting something other than century link's no wire/all wireless set up that would be an option for me :P

What about a power line adapter? I've personally never used one but I know a few people who have and no complaints.

I can't really say if they were lying, but i'm pretty sure they should still have some separate modems. I would just get a separate router and modem you will have a better experience if you do in my opinion.

We quickly got tired of the crappy combo. Luckily my brother in law had his old qwest modem we just plugged right in and got a new router.
