If it's not for the living room/main room I wouldn't go that big. I've heard from a few saying that anything bigger than maybe ~35 it starts to suck for shooters.

At first I was thinking of getting a 40 inch myself, but settled on a 32 inch.

A Sony TV will support the PS4 the best, I have a 47" Sony LED TV and it works great with the PS3/PS4.

I don't know if it's because of the TV or the PS4 but I don't even have to turn my TV on, I turn my ps4 on, and it turns the TV on and then automatically switches to the HDMI slot the ps4 is in. When I shut the PS4 off, it automatically goes back to the HDMI slot it was on and leaves it there so I can just watch tv right after without having to do anything.

Could be just the normal thing the PS4 does.. but I don't have any other TV but Sony's in my house, so can't test it lol
