read in the ES sub-forum that a majority of the people disliked it, and that forum is pretty much dead anyway...

I would like to think ESO would be a really good game, we'll see how good it is since it's P2P. It might turn out really good, or end up like FF14 where it's shit and promise updates that will make things refreshing each month.

what other people think is usually irrelevant to me
with how many people that like cod ... ive given up on trusting other peoples opinions on games
besides the ones hating are prob the ones that are like " elder scrolls shouldnt become an online game it should stay single player"

pretty much right. that and the others want it to be WoW. no need for new versions of the same game. was in the last stress test weekend and the game was awesome. imo if you can get in 15 hours a month its worth it but i disagree with such expensive subscription and a 60$ download.

yeah i doubt ill actually buyit and play
besides there will prob be private servers up just like there is for a ton of other mmorpg games with subs
i wouldnt mind trying it tho im always up for new games ... who knows maybe itll be the first game to get me to buy a sub

I'm going to try the beta out for sure and see how it looks. Never know, might have some insane good PvP...

I wouldn't play on a private server unless the guy making it is a pure genius. Most private servers(even for old ass diablo2) can't even replicate a patch, so that there will be plenty of glitches and fuck ups. A lot of people, except for 1 guy could recreate a D2 patch so that all the items/dmg/resis and everything else matched up as the regular game.

Pretty lucky. I would have liked to be invited but it wouldn't matter anyways, I wouldn't have the time to play.

theres like ... so many wow servers age of conan ect ect
the 20x wow servers have gltiches n bugs and shit but thers some older expansion like wotlk 1x servers that are pretty solid
thers good money in that if you get a decent team going ... the 1 i paly had a big merger with other servers so now its like 1 acc n i can login like 6 diff servers with different xp rates
its definitely possible if a group of guys who know wtf there doing and are able to give little perks and bonuses or items gold ect ect to bring in money to maintain... i think some of the top 100 sites even give $$ to the top voted server
like the wow servers sell items or you "donate" and get some sort of currency bonus u can spend on items and gold and lvls
the server i play on has a max server limit of like 6k or sumthin and theres usually a que to log in but if you donate you can skip ques they also have vote points you can use for lesser items to keep them #1 on top 100 sites
