Essential vs Extra? What's the difference? also where do i find these free games?

I see the monthly games in the "PS Plus Essential" menu
But then in playstation store, i also see "free to play games"

What's the difference?

F2P games are open to everyone ps plus monthly games require ps plus to play and redeem
