hello, Im not sure if this is the correct area.
I'm looking for others opinion/experience.

I was gifted a PS5 controller brand new. I didn't open it for half a year.

when finally opened it was used on and off for 2 months.
It has been dropped occasionally.
It currently has "drift," whatever game I'm playing or even in settings it randomly goes left.

i have no reciept, was a gift.

im thinking my only options is to buy a new one.
but for using it less than 2 months i think its Bullshit product.

What are your experience or solutions to this problem?
waht did you do?

gamestop offering i think $15 to buy it from me.

thank you.

Ps5 controllers got such problems are well known and easy repair.

Why only 15$ to sell?? They will buy from you 15, repair and sell for 40-50$ ^^

New ones are like 60$?

How much costs you to repair this in some service?
Do you got some arround? Its easy to repair and can cost less than 60 for new one for sure..

Joysticks are easily replaceable, and cheaper than purchasing a new controller. There are lots of step-by-step guides online on how to do it as well.

I've personally had my controllers for near 2 years and having encountered this issue yet, thankfully.
