Sup Guys, been a long fucking time since i posted in this SF, due to SC2 and LoL.

Is this game on the same level as Demon's Souls? Thinking about getting it because Demon's Souls is one of my favorite games, if not THE favorite.
Are there any noticeable things that detract from it due to the game being multiplat and not PS3 exclusive?

game owns just as much as demons souls

only problem is pvp is still suffering because the scaling and upgrades were dumbed down, killing off a lot of the build diversity that made demons souls fun

the player base is a lot bigger though and a few patches have already come out, so in due time

fight/hurt only 1, cause after you beat one the other absorbs him and full heals and powers up.

most people kill ornstein first cause a powered up smough is easier than power ornstein, but the downside to that is you cannot buy ornstein armor that way.
whichever you kill last, you get their armor set (you purchase from a vendor later)

as for tactic to beat the bosses, the best strategy is to keep them lined up/behind each other and use the 6 pillars in the room to your advantage.
but becareful cause those pillars can also mess you up if you lose track of location.

best bet is to usually lock onto ornstein since he's faster and try to keep smough behind him or away (when ornstein does his leap attack)
just be patient and only go in for hits when you can get a clean easy one.
it's possible to beat one of them without using any flask, but you'll have to know the attack pattern, which isn't hard, just tedious(like for any boss)

A good idea could be to go there in human form. I was able to summon that solaire guy just before entrance, near the dragonbow/arrows shooting silver knight up the stairs.
The Solaire guy can help distract Ornstein while u kill the fatty (or any other way around, whichever u like).

i killed them yesterday solo on my 2nd try

i used a lightning spear +4 / gold hemmed armor / the favour ring / cloranthy ring
i killed ornstein first (smough was easy once he powered up, just chained a 2600 damage combustion combo :P )

try and always be locked on to ornstein (all of smoughs move can be dodged with a dodge roll)
the base of where the pillars usta be stop all of smoughs moves, so if you keep one of those between you and him he doesnt do much.

dont attack too many times ofc

Thx for all the suggestions guys, I farmed some humanity from the Depths and I'm heading back to try Ornstein and Smough. Should I try to summon another Player plus Solair or 2 Players and no Solair?

i did it my first time summoning 2 people, then i did it myself in ng+, but if you're gonna solo might as well summon solaire for the extra help and diversion.
