to get dark anor londo, you have to kill the princess/betray darkmoon covenant. (killing the princess is easy, she dies in 1 hit lol)
but once you do that, all the enemies disappear (giant guards, gargoyles, knights) and are replaced with only 2 enemies (found in the great hall before ornstein/smough fight)

one is a black knight (similar to the one in undead parish that guards the prayer area past the gate guarded by the iron boar)
and the other is some light unit who uses balder armor and i believe a rapier?
killing those 2 net you about 10k.

the downside to doing this is that you obviously betray darkmoon covenant, while you can still use the princess bonfire, the anor londo one is lost (you can warp to is, but the fire isn't lit anymore)
the anor londo bonfire is gone because the firekeeper attacks you once you break the covenant because she's one of the "guards" for the covenant. (you can kill her for her firekeeper soul)

Thanks for that. So, I should try and get my Souvenir of Reprisals before doing this then. What SL did you invade to get the Souvenir of Reprisals? My character is not focused on PvP at all, do you think I would get lucky and face another person who isn't into PvP or will I just get slaughtered?

i didn't do pvp, i got my 3 from ng++ and killing lautrec 3 times haha.
and by the time i figured that i needed souvenirs i was in ng++ and had already glitched my char to super high, so i opted to farm them...which took me about 30-1 hour? didn't time it.
but i farmed the crows in painted world for another 6 or so i believe and traded 1 pendant to snuggly for the last souvenir since i got tired of farming.

but if you think you're decent at pvp or can even connect to someone else go for it.
it's only 10, i believe the pvp level is around 120.

Ahh OK. I will try it out and see what happens. Right now I am right before the last boss in my first playthrough, just trying to grind up and get all the items I can before moving to NG+.
Worst case scenario I will just farm them too. Can't be worse then the Pure Bladestone right?

Is this game on the same level as Demon's Souls? Thinking about getting it because Demon's Souls is one of my favorite games, if not THE favorite.
Are there any noticeable things that detract from it due to the game being multiplat and not PS3 exclusive?

i don't know what you mean by same level, but it's pretty much similar to demons souls.
some parts i feel are easier, others are harder/more annoying.
