Well, that's Rom the spoderman down. First real boss I could just abuse his pattern on. Run close --> Close-range up-icicle-smashthingy, dodge back, run in after it's over and land 2 hits --> repeat for 3-4 minutes.

I love moments like that in this game
I had the same epiphany with Rom after I tried my flametorch on him. He seemed impossible and then, by chance, he was simplified to a minor speed bump.

I thought rom was the most difficult of all the bosses, including the last one.

I'd say the boss I had the most difficulty with is not necceserely the one I found hardest.
For some reason, Bosses like Shadows of Yarnham where there are multiple mobs to keep track of is the most annoying for me to overcome.

The one I struggled with the most must've been either Father Gas because I was still basicly learning the game, or Logarius prior to finding out the parry.

Progress update:

Decided to check out what chalice dungeons are all about, so I did some of those, got up to (and killed) the old god dude that gave me the coolest looking set in the entire game.
After that I ventured on towards The Nightmare Frontier (My least favourite place in the entire game thus far) and beat Amygdala.

So thats makes it:

Darkbeast Paarl
Shadows of Yarnham
Rom, spoderman
Martyr Logarius
Amygdala

Also finished Crowgirls questline and beat the dude in the chapel.


Tomorrow, I'm off to the Upper Cathedral Ward and get manhandled by Ebrietas :'(

After that I guess I'm close to done with the main sidemissions besides Chalice Dungeons?
Time to go beat the game after that!

The defiled chalice dungeon is definitely the hardest. Final boss(es) are easy in comparison.

Okay, so after checking some stuff up, I think I might've messed up a bit.

I've been using a Ludwigs blade build and I went str/end/vit equally, and have all 3 at around 36 at the moment.
From what I've read, most people go 25str 25dex, then 50/50 str dex, doing str first.

I guess I'll be stuck grinding some 15-or so levels to get my dex up to 25

Chalice dungeons are the only thing I haven't done yet. I'm working my way through to the last one but I need jelly

I got 2 optional bosses left.. Amygdala and Celestial Emissary.

After that, I will do all chalice dungeons and then finally last boss + trophies.
Gotta get most out of the game, since I bought the Nightmare edition.

LMAO I just 2 hit Celestial Emissary, this boss was a joke



gl and remember to kill the crazy old bell ladys on both sides of the bridge when doing the one reborn.
