This game is good but when you put like 80+ hours in it gets a little old, maybe I just burned it out.

I'd have to agree with you there.....not really up to any NG+ or starting another character after beating the game...It was definitely worth $60 and I'd play another installment in a heartbeat, but I'm just not down to play it again lol.

i traded it in as soon as i beat it like a month ago lol, it was a really good game but the lack of story didn't give me incentive to play again and i don't like the pacing of the game, it's slow and you have to be patient

in first playthrough?
best place that's "fast" is either darkroot forest early on, about 7k per 1-3 mins
or killing gywn and setting anor londo to darkness and killing the 2 people that spawn in the great hall before ornstein and smough for 10k a run.

other than that, i don't know any "fast" and high netting farm areas.

Yeah, first playthrough. I want to grind my SL to 150 before finishing it (I know, a lot of work), so I can just walk through NG+.
I use the Crystal Ring Shield + Covetous Silver Serpent Ring at the third bonfire in Anor Londo. I get the overkill on 4 Silver Knights for 1296 souls each and then hit the bonfire again. I am finding it much faster then farming the covenant members in the Darkroot Forest and more consistent.

Can you give me more information on setting Anor Londo in darkness?
Do all the enemies stay in the same area, and react the same, just have more souls?

to get dark anor londo, you have to kill the princess/betray darkmoon covenant. (killing the princess is easy, she dies in 1 hit lol)
but once you do that, all the enemies disappear (giant guards, gargoyles, knights) and are replaced with only 2 enemies (found in the great hall before ornstein/smough fight)

one is a black knight (similar to the one in undead parish that guards the prayer area past the gate guarded by the iron boar)
and the other is some light unit who uses balder armor and i believe a rapier?
killing those 2 net you about 10k.

the downside to doing this is that you obviously betray darkmoon covenant, while you can still use the princess bonfire, the anor londo one is lost (you can warp to is, but the fire isn't lit anymore)
the anor londo bonfire is gone because the firekeeper attacks you once you break the covenant because she's one of the "guards" for the covenant. (you can kill her for her firekeeper soul)

if you need more info you can also look at the wiki, or just post and i'll reply with another lengthy response.

e: i ended first playthrough at lvl 98, ng+ isn't super hard especially if you end your first game with some nice weapon, i used a +5 lightning laito but then upgraded to a +5 black knight halberd for the higher damage.
if you use some strong weapon from your first round the ng+ will be a lot simpler, at least early on cause you'll be smacking bosses down in half the time you did your first time through
