Of course you can. Its an opinion and nothing more. Just cause you feel your opinion is more correct then another one doesn't make it so.

I'm not really arguing my favoritism of ff14, I'm arguing his lack of experience where he says that players dont rush through games.

Obviously, ones liking of a game is subjective but when someone gives dumb reasons, I have to pounce on that.

I didnt say nobody will rush, i said console gamers would not reach pc gamers ( usaid this can be done in 1 week) equipment. I really doubt one can get everything in 1 week where others need one year. If you think so, you clearly didnt play any mmos.

PC players are allowed to transfer to console if they meet certain conditions so there could likely be maxed players at launch

I'm sorry, but you are wrong. A week is an estimate but it wouldn't take long for console players to catch up, the ones that rush.

You have to understand, that people have been playing mmos for a very long time. The grind of leveling comes easy to them and they strive for end game content. I have 11 years into mmos but I play casually.

And even so, it really has no direct effect on you as there will always be someone more geared than you during progression.

I'm not saying this is the right way to play but plenty of people do it.
