Need some help... If I go back to the Yharnam or w/e the place is, before finishing the level / boss, do I have to kill everything again once I come back?

What are the minimum each stat should be? Atm I'm lvling a few kinda even. I just got to 9 bloodting so I can use the rifle spear.

do the different guns have a different chance of stunning? The guide i saw for bloodstarved beast recommends the blunderbuss because it'll stun easier or something?

also on the way to the BSB i saw some monster running down the steps and then it disappeared at the lantern. Do i get anything for killing it?

yeah if you can kill those things before they vanish they drop usually blood shards or chunks
