Yeah but to my understanding the retailer doesn't just have the WiiU on loan until it sells, they paid for it right? Yeah this makes sense for the retailers but like I said before shouldn't Nintendo just be like whatever? Unless retailers made a huge push or something like take some of your flop console back or we are going to stop carrying it.

Hardly a flop for Nintendo right now considering they have a myriad number of games coming this holiday season; not to even mention any unannounced surprises. Nintendo has no need to worry though since Mario will sell the system in know problem, even if it turns out being another GameCube or Nintendo 64 they will still be able to flip a profit from it. Besides; the company does not even have a debt yet and they are completely ravaging all competition within the handheld market.

I never said it was a flop I was just offering a scenario. But it is a fact that they are recalling consoles (if that's what you want to call it) and it is a fact that doing so is not a good thing.

Its actually just simple logic, if they just obtained a last generation console such as the PlayStation 3 than they would know that 4 GB is not nearly enough memory to last a full generation of consoles; not to mention that black has always been the most overly preferred console color.

Why would the console be selling great right now if Nintendo hasn't released the games they have been working on? Even Nintendo stated that they are not expecting the system to be a hit until they release their first party exclusives on it.
