did you do pvp to get 10 souvenirs of reprisal?
i only have 2 =( about to get 3 from killing lautrec again then probably gonna trade pendant for 1, and have 4...but i need 10 to get the blademoon miracle for plat.
other than that, i just need to upgrade 3 weapons which requires me getting 1 white slab 1 blue slab and 1 titanite slab and upgrading 2 boss soul items (sif and gwyn)
and 1 miracle from gravelord by trading in 10 eye of deaths

O no, you have to PvP to get one of the tropdies? I hope not... I hate PvP.

iono you supposedly need to turn in 10 of those and the only way to get them (within 3 playthroughs - amount needed to plat w/o other people) is to do some pvp and kill, though it's only 10 and you get 1 per win.
if you do it alone by yourself you get 1 per game for killing lautrec and 1 for trading pendant with snuggly, so max is 2 per game, which requires at least 5 games at that rate to get 10 to trade in

You get one for every sinner you kill, so I suppose when you are done in a playthrough you can kill them all.

a "sinner" is a person who breaks a covenant/sins in the game, it's pretty much pvp unless there are some npcs that somehow do it and you get it that way, if that's the case i'd love it

e: just read, there is a way to get it w/o pvp but that's farming crows in painted world and its supposedly a rare drop

Should I join covenants as I see them?
Are there reprcusions for leaving them?
Which do I need to do more then just join, in terms of trophies?

you need to join all the covenants to get a plat (there's a trophy for joining each one)
then there are a couple that require you to either give stuff to or do something for to get the items, which is also needed for plat trophy.

chaos servant covenant - gives you 2 pyromancy spells - requires joining covenant for first one, then offering 30 humanity to get rank 2 for second spell, and you need to get infected with egg head to buy 2 spells from the vendor next to her
sunlight warrior covenant - requires 50 faith to join, or co-op (look at wiki, too much to write) then there will be 3 miracles to get from there, 1 for joining, 1 for rank 1 (offering 10 sunlight medals) and 1 for offering gywn soul (need to be rank 1+ to offer to altar)
dark wraith covenant - gives dark hand (for joining) and dark sword (offer 30 humanity - rank 2) both are required for the rare weapons trophy
blade of dark moon covenant - gives you blademoon miracle at rank 1 (offer 10 souvenir of reprisal)

those are the ones that affect plat, either rare weps trophy, miracle trophy, or pyro trophy.
for collectors (which i'm doing, aiming to get everything i can, or 1 copy of everything at the very least) you'll need all the covenants cause they all offer different things.

e: the ones i listed are items that aren't obtainable any other way without someone giving them to you
