It's matchmaking is pretty good though so it usually matches you up with people with the same type of decks.

You dont even need to play the game, as soon as your friend joins your lobby the trophy pops

Not exactly

With hearthstone u can have every card and a top rank deck and still get your ass kicked if u don't immediately recognize the style of the enemy's deck, and how to counter each move. U will often have 2 or more options for moves and just picking the wrong one once or twice will cost u the game.

Not even including the completely different style of arena matches. Nothing pay to win about that, purely random. Some small element of luck (getting a good legendary, 6 fireballs, 4 holy nova ect ect...) but it is mostly how is the better strategist with a better understanding of the game.

Just because u drop $500 on cards in hearthstone does VERY little to ensure u are going to do good/be a good player.

Pro players can get to rank 10 with all basic cards. I have a hard time getting rank 10 with a solid mech-Mage deck I have all synergiezed.

Of course that goes for everything but the difference is that it takes them $500 for instant good cards as for the free players it would take months for the same cards

Yes the end game depends on the player and deck but you still have to achieve the cards needed to meet the end game
Which takes free players substantially longer to get

That's true, I never spent any money on the game and just considered all that time with average cards part of the learning curve though. I am still missing a few key cards for decks iv wanted to try out and iv been completing my daily quest for something like 2 years now lol
