You're not saving anything by buying junk tvs, by the way. You're not gaining any real value buying inexpensive, low model tvs with important features locked on them.

You use the term side grade pejoratively. Your upgrade is meaningless in a market with a lack of 4k content. You use the term cheap for spending less money and not buying a more expensive TV for arbitrary reasons padded by market speak.

You have proved that the television manufacturers have you on the hook, line and sinker.

How is there a lack of 4k? Explain that to me. The three largest avenues of viewing is TV, DVD and Netflix. All three have 4k viewing.

I get it. Their opinions don't line up with yours so you have found a reason to dismiss it. You're right, they're wrong. Wish I knew the term for someone line you, there probably is one. Narcissistic maybe? Don't know if that exactly fits for someone who thinks so highly of their own opinion.

4k is standard
4k is cheap and at cheaper price points than 1080p as years ago.
4k content is available and much more so than last year.
CURRENT model year tvs (since 4k is standard) will have better features and better images.




You can't prove me wrong on any of these. You can go ahead and call me arrogant or such, but you're arguing against the current market status, so you're wrong.

But to be fair I did point out that your opinion is totally based on buzzwords.

No, my opinion is based on what I see on the market. I worked retail for 10 years. I have a good sense of what's in and what's out.


It's really not that hard, and the evidence is widespread and clearly visible.
