- Long story short, I get the worst ques, I need more people who're decent or willing to learn to play with, and I'm going to rip out my goddamn hair if I have another conq night as bad as this one lol. You can skip the wall of text, it's just me explaining the two horrific games I had, I just needed to vent.
So fucking frustrated by these teams I'm getting in conquest, it's just impossible to carry.
First game I'm pumped, we actually had a good comp and that's one of the first times I've seen a game without like 3 carries or 3 assassins or 3 mages lol.
It's me (Neith), Aphrodite (Sup, not ideal but fine against bad kids), Sycla mid, Awalix or however you spell her name (Jungle), and Amaterasu on solo lane. This is awesome, a comp that'll actually work. Nope, Amaterasu + Aphro are friends, they never once walk away from one another, so I'm in lane by myself v Neith + that scarab fucker. Manage to hold my own, start up 4-0 against 2v1 until they bring a third and then I start going downhill. Those two are running around in jungle, Scyla is doing her best to handle solo lane now as no one will do it, I'm jumping back and forth between mid and duo since neither jungle or the 2 assholes will help. Every single teammate they would wait until someone was weak, dive, try to get that one kill and then run like hell, even if they had full health. Needless to say, we got fucking worked, Jungle did absolutely nothing, Scyla did fine but it was me and her vs 5. Finished the game 14 n 10 with 46k player damage, Scyla had 35k, next highest was 15. Enemy did have a Sol on their team that did more damage to me, but I absolutely destroyed her every time I got her even in a 2v1 or 3v1 situation by just diving the fuck out of her, she couldn't aim, she just kept spamming and my teammates would run into it like fucking cannonfodder.
Second game looked okay to start, Me (Medusa), Xing Tian (Sup, a guy I know), Zeus (Mid), Anhur (solo), and Nemesis (Jungle). Zeus immediately abandons lane to go lane with Anhur, they get destroyed fighting 2v1 Amaterasu. Mid is farming like a champ as no one is in mid, Nemesis is running around doing absolutely nothing and I don't think Anhur hit a single attack once while I was watching lol. Buddy and me destroyed our lane. Mid + Jungle both just come to live in my lane, or start following me around once they know Amaterasu can handle fighting the other 3v1. Ended the game 19 and 6 with 40k Player damage, highest on my team was 11k, highest on the enemy team was 20k. Just not a damn thing I could do, held off two all-in attacks with quadra kills, pushed past phoenix in my lane (it was the only one with towers even hurt this late in the game) with just me and the sup as the other 3 went back to farming jungle and then finally on the third all-in I died while killing two of them and the remainder of my team got destroyed without bringing a single enemy down to even 2/3s of their life.
Sorry for the longggggggg fucking vent, just needed to get this off my chest. I try not to rage too much, but holy fuck was I salty after these two games. I think a big part of it was I had someone message me after the second game telling me that I need to learn to carry if I'm going to pick a hunter, I uh know, that shit just rubbed me the wrong way.
Anywayyyyyys, I'd still really like to get some more people to play with. Finally played with Dark and he's solid, but we seem to have completely opposite schedules. I'm usually available to play weekends or weeknights after 5-6pm MST if I don't have family obligations. Feel free to add me or message me. If you're not great, but you at least understand (or are willing to learn) team comp and your primary objective based on your selection, that'd already make you 10x better than almost every single kid I've gotten in que this week lol.
