Even if that were true the console don't seize to exist after those two games. If you are a gamer at some point there will be a game worth the purchase of the console. Buy the console now and play "mediocre games in your opinion" or buy it later, what's the difference?
Money allocation and time investment. I could be paying a fraction of the cost that it would take to play those two games on a new system if I just bought games I haven't played yet for a system I already own. I could be getting more time in more games for a lower price and by the time I'm all done and burnt out on that there will be more games for cheaper on the next console I buy.

Less than that because I work retail and get discounts
For games that I enjoyed playing for several hundred hours and didn't give two shits about someone who gets paid to tell sheep what to think about games and gaming
Yes all the convincing I needed.
Why do you people all put your faith into metacritic and vgchartz.... Both websites are horrible.
Play what you like and stfu about it.
The rating number for a game is the TLDR version. If you go by the number the game got besides how it got that number in the form of the review then you're crazy. You can argue numbers all you want, but it's hard to argue videos/pictures/descriptions.
