Even if that were true the console don't seize to exist after those two games. If you are a gamer at some point there will be a game worth the purchase of the console. Buy the console now and play "mediocre games in your opinion" or buy it later, what's the difference?

Money allocation and time investment. I could be paying a fraction of the cost that it would take to play those two games on a new system if I just bought games I haven't played yet for a system I already own. I could be getting more time in more games for a lower price and by the time I'm all done and burnt out on that there will be more games for cheaper on the next console I buy.



The rating number for a game is the TLDR version. If you go by the number the game got besides how it got that number in the form of the review then you're crazy. You can argue numbers all you want, but it's hard to argue videos/pictures/descriptions.

Killzone strays from the standard cod/bf model. It looks gorgeous. It introduced a new element to the genre in the form of the OWL, though not perfect it was at least something new.

Infamous is just a continuation of the series telling someone else's story. I enjoyed the last 2 so I figured I'd enjoy this one. It is interesting to continue to explore the canon of a universe you've immersed yourself in. Was it as good as previous entries? No but it was by no means bad either.


I will argue with pictures and other sheep herders on the Internet all I want. At the end of the day I don't regret my purchase and I feel I got my money's worth. Who cares what self titled reviewers say on YouTube and their blogs

It happens both ways in both forums. Why people continue to respond is beyond me.

Price isn't the only thing to consider because the failure in that logic is where do you draw the line? Why not be playing ps2 games right now instead of ps3? It's cheaper.

Because the PlayStation 2 has been discontinued and came out roughly 14 years ago. They aren't making games for it anymore (US anyway) and if you haven't played the games you wanted to play on it by now then chances are you didn't want to or you're playing them on the PlayStation 3.

They are still making new models of the last gen consoles and they are still making mass games for them. Hell, 99% of people recommend not selling last gen consoles because there will be more games coming out on them than current gen consoles.

i havent actually tried the online yet, i wanted to get a feel for everything before i started playing with other people.
