trust me, I used to be huge into CoD back when MW2 was released, but then I gave BC2 a try at friends house and it completely blew my mind. Before BC2 I've never owned any other Battlefield game.

All my friends have an xbox 360 but I didn't buy a 360 to play with them.I did the research myself and bought a PS3. later on they all switched over to a PS3. so you really don't have to join the trend, make them join you:)


they wont switch ive tried to convert like 7 irl freindsto bf series n failed becasue they wont even try it or seem scared of the game becasuse its not easy like cod

i found it the complete opposite, it was pretty easy to murk in that game during the beta, and i hadn't played black ops online in months
game had an easier feel than cod
the players didnt seem as crackheadish though which was kinda nice, you could actually notice someone before they had shot you 5 times

the beta.. where ppl that never played Bf were trying it out ppl that didnt know the map etc etc ....obviously ppl r going to suck on the beta

i had never played bf prior to the beta, and i didnt suck lol
theres gonna be people that suck in both games, and you know what props to them for still playing and trying, tenacity is key, and practice makes perfect
and that being said, theres people like pookie who play the beta and clean house, whos to say i didnt kill him a few times? :P
(i only say pookie cause from what ive seen hes probably the best at bf3 around her)

I used to work at best buy so I know how to seduce someone into doing something and I've already converted one of my room mates into BF > CoD :rofl:

i did, its not so much fps as it is team strategy, i mean i KNOW its an FPS, but i wouldnt catagorize it as a FPS like CoD, ill admit theres little to no teamwork in CoD, becuase for the most part there doesnt need to be
dont get me wrong im not knocking bf3 at all! the game looks flawless its just not my type of fps
just like i couldnt get into kz3 online

Too bad you can't cook a grenade in bf3 tho.... Hope they patch that shit up lol
