Playing the game right now...
thoughts:
the bad:
No jumping, i do understand that there is a lot of balancing issues with this... but come on, this is 2012... jumping is a must have in action games.
Camera angles get jacked up often in battle
MMOish quest style (in the bad way)
"reckoning" mode is grossly overpowered... i try not to use it because it completely destroys everything

the in between:
The look, im not really a graphics junky, but it looks like 3 talented individuals all did their own thing with the same general idea. the NPCs, landscape and monsters all look good, but don't always mesh together that well
the good:
Action packed... i get pissed off in all the right ways in the challenging combat (very timing based... skill > gear)
Feels good not to be locked to one class, at the same point, the fate cards give it structure
Very fun, well worth the $30 i paid for it, great buy, but get it on sale imo.
serious potential, i can foresee a very solid squeal from these guys if they get the sales numbers to do it... i work at Best buy in the gaming department, im constantly suggesting this solely for the fact that i want their squeal to be well funded.
Overall rating from this gamer: 8/10 <- i still feel like im going to be pre-ordering the next one, because it was a great game for a smaller dev... probably would have rated it higher if i played it before skyrim.... but my bar has already been raised :/
