I've seen them land on houses and mounds.. The edge on the cliff would have to be large yes.

Weird. My dragons only land if I move to an open space...

I don't really use Conj, i'm all about destruction. But I did use Healing Hands quiet often on my companion to level up Restoration, as well as healed myself quiet plenty.
Light Armor levels up by itself obviously, since you'll get hit once or twice. I don't really take that much damage because I blow everything with one-two hits.

When dragons swoop in while I'm mountain climbing, I usually look for an edge on the cliff large enough for it to land and it usually does.

I'm going to max out enchanting perks today which mean I have to hunt for more dragons for mats... Love this game and soo many quest lines to complete with different factions.


The problem is that it is in the main quest part where two NPC's are with you (don't want to spoil too much). But, they don't die. So, the dragon never leaves from attacking them and they don't kill him. ...

He finally landed and as soon as he did I saved the game.
