There's a much more viable option, and I'm positive you know what I'm talking about, however unethical it may be....

I haven't done it myself, because by the time I found out about it I had already beaten Oreo & Smores......no real problems after that.

Just saying....

well i mean legit leveling lol.
but yes, duping works wonders, probably something someone would consider after beating the game once or twice and just want to finish up for the plat.

and you can actually beat the game at any level, so yea 25 is do-able, you just gotta plan out your stats really well and know exactly what you want.
but it's definitely doable.

Is this game better/harder than demon souls?

i'd say a little bit of both, sometimes it's overwhelming or even unfair how you can die, but the bosses seem so much easier now, especially with the addition of a couple new spells.
but at the same time, the lack of direction and a "safe" haven makes it harder.
like you have 4-5 different paths to take early on, and one of them you'll practically fail at unless you know exactly what you're doing.

The cheesiness factor has been increased at exponential levels....Dark Souls is more of a game of cheap death than anything else.....You're essentially thrown into some pretty retarded ass scenarios....but it's rather disappointing near the end...the "Lords of Flame" are all pretty shitty......Gwyn is literally nothing end-game....Seath is a pushover, Nito is a slow fat fuck....and Izalith turned into an animated tree that's a scripted fight....It's pretty stupid imo. Still love the game but....the bosses really aren't challenging at all...some are just cheap. I honestly want to say the ONLY fight in the game that is a genuine challenge is Smough & Orenstein...many will dispute me surely but...I literally didn't have a problem with anyone else...everyone has patterns that are too easy to read.

first encounters early on the bosses were tough, but that might've been due to the fact that i wasn't used to them.
but i agree with malevolent, many of the bosses were easier and once you took the time out to understand their patterns they were easy and can even be beat without taking a hit.
and yes, i also agree that ornstein and smough were probably the hardest bosses, but that's probably also due to the fact that you fight them both at the same time, alone they probably would've been a lot easier.

The 2v1 was the only problem...you try reading one of them and the other one has their weapon up your ass...targetting one or the other was a pain in the ass if you're legit leveled...I simply took my time not to get hit and whichever died first was how it went for me....I did damage to both without getting hit, waste of time but it paid off in the end...too bad I had killed Smough first...Gundam Orenstein was a hassle.

i went with ornstein first, killing smough first gets you a fast ass ornstein, but the only sad part is i don't get his armor.
and yea my ng+ i'm aiming to get ornstein armor so i'll get to fight that gundam ornstein....lol
but the hardest part was the timing for both of them, but i think it's doable if you get one "stuck" behind the other that way only 1 can hit you while the other is blocked a bit
